Preparations before Botox injection
The patient must tell his /her doctor if she has received any type of botulinum toxin injections within the past 5 months or taking any type of muscle relaxants or sleeping aids.
If the patient takes blood thinners, she must stop taking medicine before injection to avoid bleeding.
Side effects of Botox
Botox may cause excessive relaxation of the muscles but it is temporary, Hypersensitivity, Dysphagia, and Breathing Difficulties.
